Oppo: Joe Biden
Just a little mashup of just how NOT progressive Joe is.

BUDGET
It's worth pointing out that this was the same balanced budget amendment Joe Biden spoke in favor of and voted for. Here's that video, also from January 1995. pic.twitter.com/mgDFxAvylO— Walker Bragman (@WalkerBragman) May 7, 2019
CIVIL RIGHTS
Joe Biden once referred to Democratic presidential candidate Rev. Jesse Jackson as “that boy.” pic.twitter.com/NXW7mTqkWt— Walker Bragman (@WalkerBragman) June 20, 2019
These first two tweets tell a story of how Biden kept lying about marching with the civil rights movement in the 60's.
So this is a story I'll bet a lot of people haven't heard.https://t.co/dxT8WHyMxW pic.twitter.com/uZgZcu3XVk— Paul Waldman (@paulwaldman1) June 3, 2019

This one actually compares a few different things that Hillary and Joe agreed upon.

CRIME
"And what remains true is that Biden was one of the bill's great champions. His was not accidental support, and his identification with the legislation was so complete that, as CNN reports, “he has referred to it over the years as 'the Biden bill.'” He even defended it as recently as 2016, but now that he's running for president, he allegedly considers it a mistake."

HEALTH CARE
I asked @JoeBiden today where he stands on Medicare for all.— Sahil Kapur (@sahilkapur) May 14, 2019
He doesn't support it because "the vast majority of people are satisfied with their own health care system today."
He endorsed "making a Medicare option available to all" and letting people keep their private plans.
"
"Industry lobbyists aren’t certain Biden will win. One Democratic health care lobbyist grimly predicted to me Sanders would take the Democratic nomination. A trade association leader brought up Biden’s two previous failed presidential bids. But they finally have a candidate in their corner with the profile to battle Sanders and single-payer."
Biden questions why we should go to a health care system that doesn't make corporations pay their fair share.
Let’s face it: Joe Biden’s argument against Medicare for All makes no sense.pic.twitter.com/a0792CpP03— Justice Democrats (@justicedems) May 10, 2019
IMMIGRATION

Biden talking about Sanctuary Cities and ignoring Federal Laws. SPOILER: He says "No" he will not allow the Sanctuary Cities to break the Federal Law.
INTEGRITY
- Lack of Policy/Embrace Major Capital
- Desire to Return to a Past that never existed
- Resentment of New Era
Lied About Drunk Driver
"It’s also possible, some of the same confidants acknowledge, that Biden’s grief contributed to his propensity for impolitic, loose-lipped gaffes—life is short, let it rip—including two public instances in which he altered the narrative of the deadly wreck by suggesting inaccurately the other driver was drunk. Overall, though, and over time, Biden has managed to turn his grief into a sort of interpersonal gift."
"At least twice, Biden himself has made public references to alcohol being involved in the crash. In 2007 Biden said the truck driver "allegedly ... drank his lunch." And multiple news outlets, including CBS News, have reported that Dunn was drunk."

WELFARE PROGRAMS
WOMEN'S ISSUES
"Biden's leading role in the Obama administration's 2011 efforts to slash the deficit by offering Republicans spending cuts to Medicare and Social Security."
WOMEN'S ISSUES
"As a U.S. senator from Delaware, Biden voted against a 1977 compromise that allowed Medicaid to fund abortions that included exceptions for victims of rape and incest in addition to concerns for the life of the mother. While the rape and incest exceptions passed in that case, Biden voted in 1981 to again remove them, in what was the most far-reaching ban on federal funds ever enacted by Congress."
Joe Biden campaigned for anti-abortion crusader Fred Upton in (blue wall) Michigan, edging out the pro-choice DEMOCRAT BY 4 PTS in 2018 midterms. And took $200,000 for his trouble.— Brook Hines (@nashville_brook) May 15, 2019
